Amanda Brugel

(February 27 2010 - Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a sleepy community on the part of Montreal that is known as"the West Island. The West Island can be confusing to those unfamiliar of its purpose. It is often believed that it's an island located that lies west of Montreal However, the West Island encompasses everything between the cities that are Lachine as well as West. Amanda Brugel was born there, but her time was not long in the city. Brugel developed on Courtice located just outside Oshawa within Ontario. She aspired to be a professional dancer, but because of a huge expansion, she surpassed all of her dancing partners. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed her height in heels as 6 foot 1 inches tall. When I grew out of male companions at that point, I gave up. The Brugel is one of the former dancers who shifted into acting. Her high school teacher school encouraged her in the right direction. She was encouraged to audition for a part in a school production. The teacher who suggested that she take on a part in the school's annual show. It led to an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theatre Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000. Over the last 20 years, her work has been featured on both the large and small screen. The most notable was her recognition when she landed her part as Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian cast member for Season 1 of the series and only seen occasionally.
