Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British American singer and musician, is most well-known for her musical talents. She was the first woman of her generation to receive the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was the Indian young sitar star. She is Ravi Shankar's pupil, and the daughter. She was born London in 1982. During her first years she split in London New Delhi. When she was 13 she performed her debut performance in New Delhi. Then she relocated in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha's career as a performer and recorder is remarkable, even at her young age. Since quite some time, she has been performing regularly with her father.
